The 2006 summer First Fridays @ Five were such a success, the Lubeznik Center for the Arts has planned monthly themed events through 2007! Events will take place from 5 - 8 pm on the first Friday of each month, featuring music, appetizers and drinks - a perfect way to unwind after a hard week. Everyone is welcome. $5 admission and cash bar. Continue a Friday tradition with First Fridays @ Five!

February 2 – “Come to the Cabaret” featuring a sophisticated interlude of cabaret & jazz standards sung by Ms. Bunny Fisher accompanied by Mr. Allen Barkus. Food provided by Main Street Café (Michigan City) & Grand Kankakee Hunt Club (Hannah, IN).

Bunny Fisher, of Michiana Shores, performs regularly at Maxine’s Restaurant in Michigan City. She has appeared in three highly acclaimed one-woman cabaret shows at the Acorn Theater; as well as private engagements in Chicago and the Dunes Summer Theater.
