Join the Lubeznik Center Guild on Thursday, May 24, for a tour of the Arboretum and Cantigny Gardens and Museum in Lisle, Illinois led by Ross Blythe, our perennial guide.

The Arboretum tour will be a docent guided on-the-bus tour through some 1500 acres of trees, shrubs, and May blooming flowers. Tour includes the new Children’s and Maze Gardens. Lunch will be at the Gingko Restaurant, with its floor to ceiling window, overlooking Meadow Lake.

In the afternoon the group will visit the garden at Cantigny, like the Arboretum, it is a horticultural masterpiece.  They will also tour the Col. Robert R. McCormick Museum, one of the finest military

museums in the world, with historic vehicles and equipment and the McCormick house with 27 rooms of early 30’s family furnishings, collections of antiques, and Chinese and European art.

The Lubeznik Center Guild tours have been wildly popular and usually sell out, so sign up now. The Arboretum & Cantigny Tour cost is $45 ($40 for Lubeznik Center members).The bus will depart the Lubeznik Center for the Arts at 101 W. 2nd St. in Michigan City on May 24 at 8:00 am and will return by 5:00 pm (Chicago time).
