The Lubeznik
Center for the Arts proudly announces the award recipients
from the 27th Annual Lakefront Art Festival which was held
on August 16 and 17 in Washington Park in Michigan City,
IN.
Artists were selected by a panel of five judges including:
Rick Lange, painter and owner of Blink, a new gallery in
Michigan City, IN; Larry Jensen, a woodturner and member
of the Lubeznik Center Board of Directors from Beverly
Shores, IN; Anneke Dekker, a clothing and jewelry designer
as well a member of the Lubeznik Center Board and Special
Events Committee from LaPorte, IN; Mike Palumbo, owner of
Gallery One in Chesterton, IN; and artist Sara Scherburg
of Union Pier, MI.
Judging took place on Saturday, August 16 and winners were
announced later in the afternoon. |

Two-Dimensional Art,
including paintings,

Three-Dimensional Art,

of Bloomington, IN; 3rd

Wayne, IN. Category III -

provided a backdrop for a
lovely festival with 128
artists exhibiting and
5600 visitors attending.
Lubeznik Center is
continually impressed with
the quality of the

artists this year, we were

fresh new artwork as well
as many returning
