Hyndman Gallery
–
named for generous supporters of
the Lubeznik Center, Jerry & Debbie Hyndman, this first floor,
2500+ square foot gallery with bamboo floors has a
breathtaking 100 foot curved wall, which is a spectacular
space for showcasing headline exhibitions. This gallery is not
only a wonderful venue to display artwork, but also
accommodates musical and other performance art as well as
special events such as wedding receptions, or adult parties.
An enclosed kitchenette is located directly off the gallery
for catering purposes. Easy access for individuals with
physical disabilities adds to this ideal space.

Brincka/Cross Gallery – on the second level, is named in memorium for long-time supporters of the LCA, William Brincka and board member Basil Cross. The gallery is accented with a large skylight and a long wall of solid wood concealing offices and meeting areas. Bamboo flooring was installed in 2007, further enhancing the space as a gallery and our mission of environmental conservation.

Library Gallery
– also on the
second level is adjacent to the Brincka/Cross Gallery and once housed our collection of art related books
and
publications. The bamboo floored space has a wall of windows
facing the lakeshore and is used for exhibitions and for small
group gatherings or meetings.

NIPSCO Art Education Studios
– on the lower
level is just a few steps down from the lobby and is named to
honor the NiSource Charitable Foundation which provided a
grant for its construction. The space is truly multi-purpose,
accommodating classes, presentations, luncheons and
exhibitions. The flooring, made of recycled tires, fits our
mission of environmental conservation. A small kitchenette is
easily accessible for food service & clean-up. The space has
easy access for persons with physical challenges and is ideal
for larger group meetings, rehearsal dinners or children's
birthday parties.
